SOMEWAY

She’s got her own life
Disconnected at times  Now a new day forms
She says things aren’t working out right
And wonders if she’ll ever be reborn

It’s a crime I say
That we have to live this way
Standing here in constant rain
Clouds and pain
Repeating again and again
Let’s change it all for a better day
Let’s change it all
Somehow    Somewhere   Someway

Every night the fights get louder
Broken dreams fuel fires that burn down what they had
She keeps thinking about what’s been vowed
And wonders will things always be this bad

It’s a crime I say
That people have to live this way
Waiting on a brilliant light   To save a life
On the darkest of nights
Let’s change it all for a better day
Let’s change it all
Somehow    Somewhere   Someway

She’s as sweet as a honeydew stand
As she travels across this land this universe
Hope is surely near at hand
So create some joy and drown that heavy thirst
For good

It’s a crime I say
That we have to live this way
Standing here in constant rain
Clouds and pain
Repeating again and again
Let’s change it all for a better day
Let’s change it all
Somehow    Somewhere   Someway

Let’s change it all  Somehow   Somewhere   Someway
